Letter from the Editor: Happy New Year!

Dear Readers,

I’m hoping that 2021 is a much better year than 2020, but that won’t happen unless we all strive to make what changes we can. It may feel like a new year, which it is, but it’s also just the next day, and yesterday’s problems still exist.

For example, COVID still exists and many people across the country are still struggling just to get by.

Please continue to mask, social distance, stay at home as much as possible, and do curbside orders for your needs if you can.

Please remember to turn in your absentee ballot at the drop off center or vote on January 5 if you are a Georgia resident. An American’s experience in 2021 and the next few years will depend on who gets voted to the Senate.

If you have the means, please help your community in what way you can by spreading news and donating time or money to organizations. Please remember to be kind and empathetic to everyone and recognize that many of us have lost a job, lost a loved one, or are just generally struggling during this time.

Best wishes to all CSU students, faculty, staff members,  friends, family members, and acquaintances.
