Almost 200 CSU student-athletes and staff participated for the 11th annual Day of Service this past Saturday.

Day of Service is an annual event that allows CSU students, faculty, and staff to give back to the Columbus area. This event helps the CSU community to connect with individuals in the area and partner with over 30 non-profit organizations.

The Cougars and Lady Cougars volunteered their time at nearly every program on Saturday. They visited Ronald McDonald House, Feeding the Valley, the Girls Scouts of Columbus, and Camp Abilities of Columbus, among others.

The Columbus State University Athletics Department volunteers countless hours for the community to show the Columbus area just how much their support means to the Cougar community.

“I am so proud of the leadership of our coaches and staff, and the enthusiasm of our student-athletes, in supporting this important community service event,” said Director of Athletics Todd Reeser. “Well done Cougars!”
